Do you know Sweden’s oldest weaving mill, Ekelund? They make the most beautiful products in the best quality of organic cotton.

I am so fascinated by the many beautiful woven patterns on their table runners that I am particularly fond of using as ’dinners for two’ and I am really pleased to have them as part of my selection, as they fit perfectly into my flowery universe.

The weaving mill, which was founded in 1692, has had their production in Sweden for more than 300 years and still do. This is rarely seen today.

Ekelund was GOTS-certified in 2016. GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) is an internationally renowned certification standard for organic textiles. It ensures that textile products have been produced under organic and environmentally friendly standards, from the first sowing of raw materials to the finished product. GOTS’ purpose is to advance sustainability and to ensure quality textiles with a high level of environmental and social standards for the customer. The certification covers both environmental and social aspects of the textile production and is known as the most trustworthy certification within the textile industry.

The table runner can be machine washed at 60 degrees but must not be tumble dried.
