In many of my photos it can be seen how I raise for example a tray, a pot or a bowl by using a tripos with slender legs.

I am often surprised myself at what a great effect it has to create a little distance to the surface. And for this the circular tripods are sublime.

Please note that surface rust from the tripos is likely to rub off onto other surfaces.
