A true quality item, produced in Vietnam. The tray is made from wood, which has been lacquered between thirteen and fifteen times and this adds a special glow and depth to the colour.

I am very fond of trays – they work really well for arranging small tableaus or still lifes on; they are lovely with a vase and a couple of candlesticks on, and they can help keep order on the writing table … The uses are numerous.
